Feedback Requested on VCU Shared Governance

To the VCU and VCU Health Communities,

Earlier this year, I formed an Inclusive Governance Task Force to develop recommendations that ensure all VCU employees are appropriately represented and able to fully participate in the university’s system of shared governance following the full implementation of the VCU HR Redesign.  

The Task Force researched alternative governance models to respond to these changes and after considering options, developed a recommended proposal to share with the university community for feedback.   Additional background information on shared governance at VCU, the reasons for this review, and the factors the Task Force considered in developing its recommendations can be found here.

Shared governance at VCU is an important part of our success.  It provides a forum to foster communication and engagement for the betterment of the university and the advancement of its mission.  Please take the time to learn more about the work of the Task Force and provide your feedback on the option being proposed.   Please visit the website and provide your comments and suggestions by Friday, April 20, 2018.
