Media Logistics for Final Four Viewing at VCU Siegel Center

Media planning to cover the NCAA Final Four basketball tournament viewing event at the Stewart C. Siegel Center, 1200 W. Broad St., on Saturday are advised of the following:

Credentials are required and can be obtained in person beginning today by contacting Linda Williams at VCU’s Office of Communications and Public Relations, 827 W. Franklin St., Richmond. She can be reached at 804-828-1231, or via email at llwilliams@vcu.edu.

Credentials also may be picked up at the entrance to the west side of the Siegel Center next to the box office from 3 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Media parking will be available beginning at 3 p.m. and will be first-come, first-served at the following locations:

·    Along Harrison Street between Broad and Marshall
·    Along Monroe Park on Laurel Street across from the Landmark Theater. These media are requested to shoot toward the park.
·    Parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for broadcast live trucks along the 1200 block of W. Marshall St. at the back of the Siegel Center.

Media will not be allowed to move vehicles from one location to the other.
