New look for logins
The page you’re used to seeing when you log in to many Virginia Commonwealth University websites is about to change. On Tuesday, Jan. 25, Technology Services will unveil the newly redesigned VCU Central Authentication Service. The redesign will better match the overall VCU look and feel, as well as be easier to use on mobile devices.
Technology Services is releasing screenshots ahead of time so the VCU community is prepared for the change. Technology Services also advises users to be cautious logging into suspicious sites that ask for a VCU eID and password. The VCU Central Authentication Service site is the primary method of logging into many major VCU applications.
As always, please verify that the URL for the VCU Central Authentication Service website begins with https://login.vcu.edu/ before entering your VCU eID and password; if it does not, please report the website to the Technology Services helpIT Center at (804) 828-2227 help@vcu.edu.
