Seventh annual VCU/MCV Community Health Fair

The Virginia Commonwealth University MCV Campus Student Government Association holds its seventh annual community health fair to provide free health screenings, wellness education and follow-up resources to the Richmond community.
The VCU/MCV Community Health Fair will take place Saturday, April 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Armstrong High School, 2300 Cool Lane. This event is open to the public and all health services and screenings will be free of charge.
A variety of health screenings will be available, including glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure and sexual health. Dental and vision services will also be offered. Services will be provided by representatives of several of VCU’s health sciences schools and local community health organizations. Resources for follow-up care and other important health information will also be available.
This student-run fair will have a separate section for children with activities including crafts, healthy living education, Zumba classes, live music, a moon bounce and face painting.
