STRUT Fashion Show set for Saturday at VCU

STRUT, a student-produced fashion show and entertainment event, will be held on April 5 at Virginia Commonwealth University.

The STRUT fashion show will start at 7 p.m. in the Alltel Pavilion of the Siegel Center, 1200 W. Broad St. Tickets can be purchased at the Siegel Center Box Office or in the Break Point Games Room in the VCU Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave. Ticket prices are $5 for VCU students with a valid student ID, $10 in advance for general admission and $15 on the day of the show.

STRUTwill feature style from five fashion capitals of the world: London, Milan, New York, Paris and Tokyo. The show also will include a special guest appearance by Zulema Griffin, a contestant from season two of Project Runway.

An official launch party for STRUT will be held at the BlackFinn Restaurant & Saloon tonight at 7 p.m. The party will include giveaways and a raffle.
