VCU announces Real Estate Circle of Excellence inductees

Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Business recently inducted four Richmond-area executives into the VCU Real Estate Circle of Excellence. The new members are:

Susan F. Dewey – executive director of the Virginia Housing Development Authority, a $7 billion operation with the highest bond credit rating of all housing finance authorities in the United States;

Charles H. Foster – chairman and chief executive officer of LandAmerica Financial Group, Inc., the holding company for Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation, Commonwealth Title Insurance Company and Transnation Title Insurance Company and one of the largest title insurers in the country;

John B. Levy – president of John. B. Levy & Company, Inc., a boutique real estate investment bank that arranges equity for its clients; and

Jerry L. Moore – vice president of Land Development of Dominion Capital, Inc. which has large-scale residential communities in Virginia and North Carolina.

Members of the Circle of Excellence are senior-level executives chosen for their leadership in the areas of real estate marketing, development, mortgage, law and related fields. The circle advises and consults with the VCU School of Business real estate and urban land development program. It provides internships and scholarships for students, as well as offers the "Emerging Trends in Real Estate" conference, held annually in the fall.
