VCU Board of Visitors to Meet April 14 and 15

The Virginia Commonwealth Board of Visitors will meet for a retreat Sunday, April 14, from 3 p.m. to 5:15 p.m., and Monday, April 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., in the Tazewell Room at Kingsmill Resort, 1010 Kingsmill Road, Williamsburg.

Open session information items include a budget overview and appointment of committee chairs.

The schedule is as follows:

Sunday:

3:15 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.         Budget overview

Monday:

8:30 a.m.         Reports of the rector and president, followed by board committee reviews and goal setting

3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.        VCU Health System orientation

6 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.        Joint dinner annual meeting of the VCU Board of Visitors and VCU Health System Authority Board

In accordance with the board’s operating procedures and in compliance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, there will be no opportunity for public comment at the meetings.
