VCU Medical Center presents ‘Incontinence: Staying in Control’

Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center continues its free educational seminar series this spring featuring experts who provide important health information and answer questions on a variety of current topics in health care.

The series’ next lecture, “Incontinence: Staying in Control,” will take place on Tuesday, May 20, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, Education and Library Complex, 1800 Lakeside Ave. It is free and open to the public, but registration is required. “Incontinence: Staying in Control” will be presented by physical therapists Ann Dunbar, D.P.T., and Kelley Ryan. The seminar will discuss the signs and symptoms of urinary and fecal incontinence, as well as tips, such as simple lifestyle exercise changes, to promote pelvic floor muscle strength and ways to improve your quality of life.
