VCU Medical Center presents ‘Research is Our Future: Clinical Trials in Neuro-oncology’

The Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center continues its free educational seminar series this winter featuring experts who provide important health information and answer questions on a variety of current topics in health care.

The series’ next lecture, “Research is Our Future: Clinical Trials in Neuro-oncology,” will take place on Feb. 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, Education and Library Complex, 1800 Lakeside Ave. It is free and open to the public, but registration is required. “Research is Our Future: Clinical Trials in Neuro-oncology” will be presented by Mark Malkin, M.D., VCU Massey Cancer Center. The seminar will discuss the progress being made in the treatment of patients with brain tumors. Participants can learn more about the latest clinical trials for these diseases that are underway and in development in this field.
