The Virginia Commonwealth University Mood Disorders Institute (MDI) has announced its new website, www.mood.vcu.edu.
Features of the new site include:
- Information on MDI such as its history, mission, and services
- Current studies for which MDI is recruiting
- Frequently asked questions about clinical trials
- "Sponsor Resources" page that gives key information about MDI's capabilities
- "News" page, which features recent MDI activities
- "Links" page that directs visitors to websites with more information on mental health resources
"Our website is an excellent way to facilitate communication with all of our stakeholders -- patients who are looking for treatment, sponsors who are looking for a clinical trials site and the general public who may be interested in learning more about what we do here at MDI," said Susan G. Kornstein, M.D., executive director of VCU's Mood Disorders Institute.
Founded in 1992, MDI is a leader in clinical trials for treatment of mood and anxiety disorders and women's mental health.
