VCU Nursing, Dentistry Open New Health Center

The VCU Schools of Nursing and Dentistry held a ribbon cutting this week to mark the opening of VCU Neighborhood Partners Practice, a new health center launched in partnership with Virginia Premier Health Plan Inc. to improve dental and physical health outcomes among underserved populations.

Nancy F. Langston, Ph.D., dean of the School of Nursing, and David Sarrett, D.M.D., dean of the School of Dentistry, were joined by Steven Crossman, M.D., associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Population Health in the School of Medicine, and Judith Parker-Falzoi, assistant professor in the School of Nursing.

Parker-Falzoi is the center's clinical director and Crossman is the collaborating physician. The center is located in room 101D of the Wood Memorial Building, which is part of the School of Dentistry's complex. For more information, visit www.npp.vcu.edu.
