The open house marks National Sleep Awareness Week, March 27 – April 2, which is timed to coincide with Daylight Savings Time when clocks "spring forward" on April 2.

At the open house, sleep experts will be available to answer questions and to provide information on sleep disorder screenings. Sleep IQ tests will be given, along with tours of the sleep center.

More than 40 million Americans suffer from treatable sleep disorders. According to the National Sleep Foundation, most American adults get less than seven hours of sleep a night. The foundation estimates that this lack of sleep costs employers more than $18 billion annually in lost productivity. In addition, at least 100,000 motor vehicle accidents and 1,500 deaths occur in the United States each year because of drivers falling asleep at the wheel.

Pre-registration is not required. For more information please call (804) 323-2255.
