VCU Presents 3rd Annual Community Health Fair

The Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center and the MCV Campus Student Government Association will present the 3rd Annual Community Health Fair, which will offer free basic care and health information to the Richmond community.

The event will take place on March 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Armstrong High School, 2300 Cool Lane.

Representatives from more than 70 community and student organizations, including the Alzheimer’s Association, United Network for Organ Sharing and VCU Dental Hygiene will be on site to provide information and to answer questions.

Free screenings or tests will be offered for blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, dental care, HIV and syphilis. H1N1 vaccines also will be available.

Other event sponsors include CVS Pharmacy and Virginia Premier Health Plan Inc.
