VCU School of Engineering Presents 'The Tohoku Earthquake and its Impact on the Nuclear Industry'

The Virginia Commonwealth University School of Engineering will present a forum on the earthquake in Japan and its impact on the nuclear industry.

“The Tohoku Earthquake and its Impact on the Nuclear Industry” will take place March 25 at 1 p.m. at VCU West Engineering Hall Auditorium, Room 101, 601 West Main Street. The forum is free and open to the faculty, students and the public.

The symposium will include a panel of experts in nuclear engineering from VCU and the community who will be able to address issues including the technical aspects of nuclear reactors and design, and the effects of radiation on health.
