VCU seeks participants for spinal cord injury focus group

RICHMOND, Va. – Researchers at Virginia Commonwealth University are looking for persons with traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI) to participate in group discussions and individual interviews.

Participants will be part of a research study to identify concerns, needs and strengths of ethnic and racial minorities, women, and children living with traumatic SCI. Participants will be asked about what they or their family members see as primary needs, issues and concerns in regards to SCI.

There are no medications, medical tests or medical procedures involved in this study.  Discussion groups and interviews are expected to last about two hours, and participants will receive $50 for their time and contribution.
