VCU to Hold 39th Annual Service Award Receptions

This year marks the 39th year that Virginia Commonwealth University and the VCU Health System will recognize employees for their dedicated years of service. 

This year’s program will honor more than 2,000 faculty and staff at receptions on both campuses. The first reception will be held on Oct. 12 from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Larrick Student Center on the MCV Campus. The second reception will be on Oct. 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon in the University Student Commons, Commonwealth Ballrooms. 

Recipients with five to 15 years of service receive service-award pins. Recipients with 20 or more years of service can select either a service-award pin or a gift.

There are 20 employees who have 40 years of service, five employees with 45 years of service and two employees with 50 years of service. These employees will be recognized at the receptions.
