VCU to Hold Fall Commencement on Saturday

Virginia Commonwealth University will hold its fall commencement on Saturday, conferring degrees to its August and December graduates.

The commencement ceremony begins at 10 a.m. at the Stuart C. Siegel Center, 1200 W. Broad St. Doors open at 9 a.m. The ceremony can be viewed online at www.vcu.edu, starting at 10 a.m. Mike Hughes, president of the Martin Agency, will be the featured commencement speaker.

Media credentials are required for access to the floor of the Siegel Center and can be obtained during business hours starting today at the offices of VCU Communications & Public Relations at Founders Hall, 827 W. Franklin St.

Students will receive professional, graduate and undergraduate degrees on Saturday. Approximately 1,800 graduates are expected to participate in commencement ceremonies. There are approximately 3,100 total August and December graduates.
