VCU to hold Open House for New Parkinson’s Disease Center

Virginia Commonwealth University will hold a reception and dedication to celebrate the opening of its new Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Multidisciplinary Research and Clinical Center.

The event will take place Thursday, Sept. 30, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Old City Hall, 1001 E. Broad St. VCU President Michael Rao will present remarks at 5:45 p.m.


The newly formed, free-standing, university-wide center will combine research, education and outreach to provide a coordinated approach for developing strategies that combat neurodegenerative diseases and movement disorders.
