The event is free and open to the public and will take place Monday, Nov. 13 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the MCV Alumni House, PaulA.GrossConferenceCenter, on the corner of East Clay and 11th streets.
The presentation, "Improving outcomes of patients with psychiatric disorders: Intersections of evidence, innovations, and thoughtful caring," will explore patient outcomes in psychiatric nursing. It also will examine historic aspects of psychiatric nursing and discuss the intersection of evidence-based nursing care with traditional roles and functions of psychiatric nurses.
