VCU’s Board of Visitors Retreat Scheduled for April 17, 18

The Virginia Commonwealth University Board of Directors will meet for its annual retreat April 17 and 18 at Keswick Hall, Keswick, Va.

The board will convene at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 17 and then will meet in a closed session to discuss the presidential transition process and related matters. 

The board will convene at 8:30 a.m., Friday, April 18 in an open session. Agenda items include updates on the VCU 2020 Strategic Plan, School of Medicine Strategic Plan, and the School of Public Health. The board also will hear recommendations of the presidential task force reviewing the Virginia Tech Panel report. The meeting is expected to conclude at noon
 

In accordance with the board's operating procedures and in compliance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, there will be no opportunity for public comment at the meetings.
