VCU’s Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Workplace Support wins Exceptional Leaders Award

Virginia Commonwealth University’s Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Workplace Support received the 2004 Exceptional Leaders "Partner of the Year" Award from the U.S. Business Leadership Network at its annual conference held recently in New York.
The center was nominated by SunTrust Bank, the lead employer of the Virginia Chapter of USBLN, for its development of Web-based disability etiquette training, specifically for human resource and hiring managers.
The USBLN is a national organization that supports the development and expansion of business leadership networks across the country and serves as its collective voice. It represents more than 50 chapters in 37 states and the District of Columbia.
The organization will hold its 2005 annual conference in Pittsburgh in November 2005, and will announce the 2005 Exceptional Leadership Awards at the conference.
