The VCU Board of Visitors will meet on Thursday, April 2, 2020, on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus. The meeting schedule is as follows:

Thursday, April 2, 2020:

9:00 a.m.                   Budget Workshop (to discuss the fiscal year 2021 budget, tuition and fees) 
                                 James Branch Cabell Library, 901 Park Avenue, Room 303, Richmond, VA.

5:30 – 8:30 p.m.       Joint meeting of the VCU Board of Visitors and VCUHS Board of Directors

Note:  There will be a Public Comment period at the Budget Workshop as follows: 

One hour of the Budget Workshop will be dedicated to public comment. Time limit per speaker is 3 minutes. Priority will be given to speakers who register on or before Monday, March 30, by sending the following information to bov@vcu.edu: name, email or phone number, VCU affiliation, and any request for reasonable accommodation.  Please note in the subject line that you are registering to speak at the public comment.  You may also call Chelsea Gray, Board Liaison, at 804-828-9213 to register. 

An in-person sign up will be available at the meeting should time remain after advance-registered speakers finish their remarks. Additional details as well as complete board agendas and presentation materials will be available at https://president.vcu.edu/board/meetings/.

Following the meeting, an online comment portal will be available at https://president.vcu.edu/board/open-comment-portal/. The deadline to submit written comments is 5 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2020. All written comments will be reviewed and considered by the Board of Visitors ahead of the May 8, 2020, board meeting where the Board of Visitors will vote on VCU’s tuition and fees for the 2020-21 academic year.

In accordance with Board procedures there will be no opportunity for public comment at the Joint meeting.
