Looking for a vintage VCU hoodie? A Ram pet bandanna for your furry BFF? Or how about the must-have black and gold “No. 1” foam finger for game day? The search is now easier for fans of Virginia Commonwealth University with the new VCU Swag website.

Launched by the VCU Office of Trademarks & Licensing, which regulates usage of the VCU brand, this online storefront brings together retailers authorized to sell official VCU merchandise, including the bold new VCU license plate.

“We heard loud and clear that fans want help finding their favorite gear online, and the VCU Swag page is the first step in meeting the VCU Ramily’s spirited demand,” said Kevin Best, associate vice president of brand marketing for VCU.

A survey this year of students, faculty, staff, alums, families and friends indicated that they didn’t know where to find official VCU merchandise.

“This webpage is developed with our fans in mind, giving them a single source for accessing everything they might want – or need – to show their unlimited love for VCU,” Best said.

The VCU Swag site also features a pay-it-forward opportunity for fans when they purchase a license plate: A portion of those proceeds supports scholarships. “It’s a great way to showcase your VCU pride and support students at the same time,” Best said.

VCU Swag launches just as the fall 2024 semester kicks off. Fans can visit swag.vcu.edu to start shopping.
