The Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts’ annual spring student exhibitions start this week at the Anderson Gallery and The Depot.

The Undergraduate Juried Fine Arts, Design & Kinetic Imaging Exhibitionskick off the season with an opening reception March 26 at 5 p.m. at the Anderson Gallery.

Dean Daderko from the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston serves as this year’s juror. Out of 610 entries, 98 were selected for exhibitions.

The exhibitions run through April 5.

Round one of the Graduate MFA Thesis Exhibitions begins with an opening reception April 10 at 5 p.m. and runs through April 26. 

Round two runs May 1 through 17 with an opening reception May 1 at 5 p.m.

The MFA thesis exhibition is the final requirement for students in the graduate fine arts and design programs, representing the culmination of each artist’s accomplishments over a two-year period.
