VCU students volunteer for Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity

Students in VCU’s Master of Urban and Regional Planning program recently joined other volunteers in building 17 new Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity houses along Angus Road in South Richmond. The week of April 20 – 26 is Affordable Housing Awareness week in Virginia. At left, Students Craig Carver, left, and Geoff Knight, center, teamed up with other volunteers to help this Habitat for Humanity house take shape.
