Campus safety counsel to speak on preventing sexual and dating violence in schools, on college campuses

Ava Bedden, a Virginia assistant attorney general and campus safety counsel in the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia, will speak at Virginia Commonwealth University on addressing the challenging puzzle of responding to and preventing all forms of sexual and dating violence in schools and on college campuses.
The event, “It’s On Us: Title IX, Sexual Violence Prevention and Trauma-Informed Response in K-12 Schools and Higher Education,” is sponsored by the VCU School of Education and takes place on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 8:30 a.m.–1 p.m., at VCU’s University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave.
