Dorris Douglas Budd Award Nominations for 2005

The Virginia Commonwealth University Human Resources Department is now accepting nominations for the 2005 Dorris Douglas Budd Award, which recognizes the outstanding performance of administrative and office support staff who enhance the image and mission of VCU and the VCU Health System.

Eligible nominees must have worked at VCU for at least five years as of Sept. 30, 2005, in a secretarial or clerical support role in the university or the VCU Health System. The deadline for nominations is Aug. 26, 2005.

Dorris Douglas Budd was a VCU secretary to the vice president of administration from 1951-1981. Her commitment to the university, her initiative and enhancement of VCU's mission inspired the award.
