Expert on Forgiveness Regarding Amish School Shootings

Virginia Commonwealth University offers an internationally recognized expert on forgiveness for those media preparing stories examining forgiveness in connection with the fatal shootings at an Amish school in Lancaster County, Pa.
Everett
Worthington, Ph.D., a professor in VCU's Department of Psychology, has
researched and written about the topics of forgiveness, reconciliation and
spirituality since the 1980s.
He is also director of the non-profit "A Campaign for Forgiveness Research," an organization dedicated to encouraging research for personal health, harmonious relationships and peace among nations. As a leader in the scientific study of forgiveness and reconciliation, Worthington has published more than 100 articles or chapters, published more than a dozen books and edited three on forgiveness, relationship enrichment and religious values in the marriage and family.
