Terri Fauber, Ed.D., School of Allied Health Professions
Fauber, associate professor and director of the radiography program in the Department of Radiation Sciences, was awarded a research grant of nearly $10,000 from the American Society of Radiologic Technologists. The grant funds provided by the ASRT will allow Fauber to complete studies of digital imaging exposure techniques and patient radiation dosage.

Stephen Vitiello, assistant professor, School of the Arts 
Vitiello’s exhibition, “Four Color Sound and Kara Hearn: A Problem of Courage,” was named one of the top 10 commercial gallery/nonprofit art-space shows of 2008 by the Houston Chronicle. The exhibition was produced by The Texas Gallery after a project commissioned by DiverseWorks in Houston. 

Nicholas Frankel, associate professor of English
Frankel has received a National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Stipend for work on his scholarly edition of Oscar Wilde’s “The Picture of Dorian Gray,” which he is preparing for Harvard University Press. NEH Summer Stipends provide $6,000 for two consecutive months of full-time research and writing.
