A golf tournament to benefit Virginia Commonwealth University’s Evans-Haynes Burn Center will be hosted by the Virginia Chapter of the American Fire Sprinkler Association. The sixth annual tournament will be held Sept. 29 at The Crossings Golf Course at 800 Virginia Center Parkway in Glen Allen.

The proceeds from the golf tournament will go to the Evans-Haynes Burn Center in support of various patient-related events, including sponsoring burn survivors at a summer camp and funding educational programs for area emergency medical providers, firefighters and students. The Evans-Haynes Burn Center, a specialty unit of VCU’s Medical College of Virginia Hospitals, is in its 52nd year of providing treatment to burn survivors in Central Virginia.

Anyone wishing to participate in the tournament may enter as an individual or as part of a foursome. Dinner is included for all participants and prizes will be awarded. The entry fee is $135 per person. In addition, tee or green sponsorships are available for $130.
