Introducing RAM Spirit Fridays

On 11/11/11, Virginia Commonwealth University launches its newest tradition: RAM Spirit Fridays.

To celebrate RAM Spirit Fridays, all VCU and VCU Health System employees are asked to proudly wear their VCU gear or black-and-gold apparel to work each Friday. The black-and-gold colors, along with the university’s insignia are symbolic representations of the traditions of the educational mission and experience at VCU.

With this latest tradition, employees will be able to celebrate and promote the traditions and spirit that make the college experience at VCU both great and unique.

“As a university community we have many accomplishments to celebrate from athletics to research and clinical breakthroughs and, most importantly, education,” said President Michael Rao, Ph.D. “This is a great way to show your Ram pride.”
