New Dining Locations at VCU

Einstein Bros. Bagels and Wendy’s will open locations in the Gateway Building on Virginia Commonwealth University’s MCV Campus this summer.  

VCU recently awarded a contract to ARAMARK Higher Education Services for the operation of both brands. The award was the result of a competitive bid process. Three nationally branded food service providers and one regionally branded company submitted proposals.

“The recommendation was to award the contract to ARAMARK, which proposed bringing Wendy’s and Einstein Bros. Bagels to campus,” said Diane Reynolds, director for VCU Business Services.

The space is scheduled to reopen in early summer 2011.
