Nominate Support Staff for Dorris Douglas Budd Award

The Virginia Commonwealth University Human Resources Department is seeking nominations for the 2010 Dorris Douglas Budd Award.

Established in 1981, the award is named for Budd, a VCU secretary to the vice president of administration from 1951 to 1981. Budd’s commitment to the university and her initiative and enhancement of VCU's mission inspired the award, which honors a support staff member who demonstrates exemplary performance and enhances the image and mission of the university and the VCU Health System.

Eligible nominees must have worked at VCU for at least five years as of Sept. 30, 2010, in an administrative or clerical support role in the university or the health system. The deadline for nominations is Aug. 27.
