Richmond Raiders Host VCU Night

The Richmond Raiders professional indoor football team this week hosts VCU Night, offering Virginia Commonwealth University students, employees and alumni discounted tickets to its game against the Fayetteville Force.

The event takes place on Saturday, April 16, at 7 p.m. at the Richmond Coliseum, 601 E. Leigh St.

Discounted tickets are available to students and employees with a valid VCU ID for $7, and to VCU alumni who wear VCU gear or identify themselves as alumni for $12.

All attendees are encouraged to bring a can of food for the VCU Food Drive to benefit the Central Virginia Food Bank and its affiliated Meals on Wheels and Community Kitchen programs. In addition, attendees who dress up as their favorite slice of pizza will have the chance to win free Chanello’s pizza for a year.

Tickets may be purchased at the door or by calling 804-780-0430. Tickets also will be sold at the Qdoba near the Siegel Center on Friday from 2 to 5 p.m.
