As college students settle in to winter break, held Dec. 19 through Jan. 18, Virginia Commonwealth University offers opportunities for students and faculty to stay connected, and makes plans for the new year.
Intersession classes, a winter ski trip and basketball games keep the VCU community involved throughout break while campus events heat up in January and February with even more Colonial Athletic Assocation match-ups for the Rams, Homecoming 2010 and Open House.
Meanwhile, the VCU Medical Center’s clinical offices remain open over the holidays. Call 804-828-9000 for more information.
Intersession classes
Holiday Intersession classes meet for 11 days between the fall and spring semesters (Dec. 28, 29, 30, 31 and Jan. 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 regardless of published or added university or state holidays) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a one-hour break for lunch.
