STATEMENT OF THE VCU BOARD OF VISITORS

The Virginia Commonwealth University Board of Visitors issued the following statement:

“The VCU Board of Visitors has concluded its annual review of performance objectives for VCU President Michael Rao. Several areas of strength were identified, such as building the faculty and enhancing student success. The board and the president agreed on areas for improvement and will work together with the common goal of advancing VCU as a major research university.”

STATEMENT OF VCU PRESIDENT MICHAEL RAO

“The evaluation was extremely valuable. I have come out of it excited to move ahead with the board in our work to position VCU among the nation’s great research universities.”
