VCU Commencement Set for Saturday

Virginia Commonwealth University will confer more than 1,800 degrees this week during its 2009 fall commencement exercises.
The commencement ceremony starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Stuart C. Siegel Center, 1200 W. Broad St. The Siegel Center doors will open at 9 a.m. U.S. Rep. Rob Wittman, R-Va., is this year’s commencement speaker.
Media credentials are required for access to the floor of the Siegel Center. The credentials may be obtained from VCU Communications & Public Relations during business hours, starting today at 816 W. Franklin St., or from a staff member at the Bowe Street entrance of the Siegel Center before the start of the commencement ceremony.
The ceremony will be broadcast live on the VCU News Center Web site at www.news.vcu.edu.
