VCU Board of Visitors’ Special Awards and Nominating Committees to Meet Feb. 5

The Special Awards Committee of the Virginia Commonwealth University Board of Visitors will meet at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 5, in the President’s House conference room, located at 910 W. Franklin St., Richmond.

The meeting will immediately go into closed session to discuss award recipients.

The VCU Board of Visitors Nominating Committee will meet the same day at 3 p.m. in the President’s House conference room, 910 W. Franklin St., Richmond.

The meeting will immediately go into closed session to discuss the selection of the rector for the upcoming year.

Board member John Luke will participate remotely from the following address: 330 Flag Station Road, Richmond, Va. 23238.

Board member Teresa Carlson will participate in both meetings remotely from the following address: Amazon Web Services, 12900 Worldgate Drive, Suite 800, Herndon, Va. 20170.

In accordance with the board’s operating procedures and in compliance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, there shall be no opportunity for public comment at this meeting.
