VCU Board of Visitors to Meet Feb. 12

The Virginia Commonwealth University Board of Visitors has scheduled a series of meetings on Thursday, Feb. 12 at the University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave., Richmond.

The board will convene at 7:30 a.m. and then meet in a closed session to discuss the candidates for VCU president and selection process. That meeting will be held in the Richmond Salons meeting room.

The board will convene in open session at 8:30 a.m. in the Student Commons Theater for a presentation by Harold Hodgkinson, Ph.D., a widely known lecturer and analyst of demographics and educational issues.

Following Dr. Hodgkinson’s presentation, at approximately 9:30 a.m., the board will convene for its regularly scheduled quarterly meeting in the Richmond Salons meeting room. 

In accordance with the board’s operating procedures and in compliance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, there will be no opportunity for public comment at the meetings.
