David T. Link, J.D., University of Notre Dame dean emeritus and president and vice chancellor of Notre Dame Australia, is host of the "Ethics of the Business Profession" lecture sponsored by VCU and the University of Notre Dame Club of Richmond.
Link, who also serves as the director of the Institute on Legal Ethics at the Notre Dame Law School, will focus his talk on the ethics of business negotiations and litigation and will provide a formula for solving modern business problems. An open discussion and reception will be held following Link’s presentation.
"We hope that this lecture will provide an intellectual forum for Richmond business professionals to tackle sensitive issues and dilemmas they may encounter on a daily basis," said VCU President Eugene P. Trani, Ph.D.
In recognition of lifelong learning, Link’s presentation is part of the fifth annual Hesburgh Lecture Program, a series of educational programs sponsored by the University of Notre Dame Alumni Association – of which Dr. Trani is a member.
The event is free and open to the public. For attorneys, an application has been submitted to the Virginia State Bar for CLE credit. For more information, contact John Pollard at (804) 784-2830.
Founded in 1838, VCU is a public, research university with more than 23, 000 students. It is a Carnegie Research University-I, a designation held by only 80 universities in the country.
