VCU Staff Senate recognizes 2009 Pride Ambassadors

Virginia Commonwealth University’s Staff Senate has named the 2009 Pride Ambassadors from the VCU and VCU Health System communities.
This year’s recipients are Barbara Judy of Academic Affairs and Maxine Robinson of the Department of Surgery, who were recognized at a ceremony by VCU President Michael Rao, Staff Senate President Susan Beavers, VCU Staff Senate activities and events chair Marquita Aguilar.
The VCU Staff Senate established the award in 2006 to recognize outstanding staff members who are committed to providing professional, responsive and innovative service and dedication while exuding excellence toward faculty, students, staff, patients and visitors of VCU and the VCU Health System.

Judy’s and Robinson’s names will appear on a plaque along with past honorees at the VCU Meeting Center.
