VCU to host third annual Veterans Day reception

The Department of Psychology in the College of Humanities and Sciences at Virginia Commonwealth University will host the third annual Veterans Day reception and program for veterans who have served or are serving in the military.

The reception will take place on Thursday, Nov. 14, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the VCU Student Commons, Commonwealth Ballroom A, 907 Floyd Ave. Active duty, reserves or National Guard personnel and their families are invited. The event is open to the public.

The program will include a panel discussion on community-based behavioral health resources for Veterans. Representatives from Sportable, Puller Clinic, Helping Military Veterans through Higher Education and the VCU Career Center will be available to provide information and answer questions.
