VCU to host top executive of the national association of realtors Feb. 25

WHAT: Virginia Association of Realtors Distinguished Lecturer Series, featuring Terrence M. McDermott, chief executive officer of the National Association of Realtors.
The program is sponsored by Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Business Alfred L. Blake Chair of Real Estate and Virginia Real Estate Center, in conjunction with the Virginia Association of Realtors.

WHO: Terrence M. McDermott, chief executive officer of the National Association of Realtors, will discuss "Real Estate: A Prism of Community Demographic and Future Business Trends."
The NAR is America's largest trade association, representing more than 780,000 members involved in all aspects of the real estate industry. McDermott joined the NAR in 1997. Previously, he was executive vice president and chief executive officer of the American Institute of Architects and spent 24 years with Cahners Publishing Co., America’s largest business and special interest magazine publisher. McDermott was publisher of Building and Design Construction magazine and group vice president of Cahner’s electronics and computer division.
