VCU’s Board of Visitors to meet May 15, 16

The Virginia Commonwealth University Board of Visitors has scheduled three meetings this week.

The board will meet at 4 p.m., Thursday, May 15, at the University Student Commons, Richmond Salons, 907 Floyd Ave., Richmond, to discuss the Fiscal Year 2008-2009 budget.

The board will meet in the same location at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, May 15, for a joint board meeting with the VCU Health System Board of Directors. This is the annual joint meeting of the two boards.

The board will reconvene at 8 a.m., Friday, May 16, at the University Student Commons, Richmond Salons, for a regularly scheduled quarterly meeting. It is expected that the board will take action on 2008-2009 academic year tuition and fees.

In accordance with the board's operating procedures and in compliance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, there will be no opportunity for public comment at the meeting.
