Virginia, national experts to address teacher quality ar VCU education lecture April 28

WHAT: State and national education experts will discuss the federal, state and local impact on teacher quality, and how it is affected by accreditation at the first John S. Oehler Lecture for Education Leadership, sponsored by the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Education.
Oehler, Ed.D., was dean of the School of Education for 14 years until he stepped down in June 2001 to return to the classroom. He currently is a professor of Teaching and Learning at the School.
