Weekend closings of 11th Street on VCU’s MCV campus will make way for renovation work
Share this story
The one-block portion of 11th Street serves as one of the vehicular approaches to Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia Hospitals. The street closure is necessary in order to safely accommodate a crane that will be used for renovations to VCU’s Sanger Hall.
Signs marking an alternate route will detour Broad Street traffic onto Ninth Street for one block and then onto Marshall Street to 11th Street.
