The project is called "Worlds for Information Technology and Science" (WITS) and was designed by Cornell University to interest young students in the fields of math, science, engineering, and technology. VCU is one of four sites in the country involved with this demo project, which is funded by National Science Foundation. VCU intends to expand this program to other area middle schools with VCU students serving as mentors. Photos by Grace Olsen.
